In 1972, the world acquainted itself with the fashion brand 'French Connection', later 'fcuk'- suffused in controversy and loving it. Anyone who wants to have a trendy and distinctive slogan on their clothes with oodles of hullabaloo, pick fcuk. French Connection has a range of clothes à la mode for men and women with a penchant for "cool-elegant" that segregates fcuk from humdrum, mediocre fashion. The fcuk style goes beyond just apparel or toiletries or perfume or eyewear or watches or shoes.
Their interesting name, which has caught eyeballs, is the product of fate and chance. They first discovered the acronym when a fax was sent from their Hong Kong store FCHK to their store in the UK, FCUK. Though they insisted it was an acronym for French Connection United Kingdom, its similarity to the word "fuck" brewed up a storm. French Connection fully leveraged this and produced an extremely popular range of t-shirts with messages such as "fcuk this", "hot as fcuk", "mile high fcuk", "fcuk me", "too busy to fcuk", "fcuk life", "fcuk football", "fcuk fashion", "fcuk fear", "fcuk on the beach", "possibly...the best fcuk ever", "cool as fcuk", etc.

Initially, the fcuk label was exclusive to the United Kingdom but has made its way overseas and into the North American market. The little known brand clawed its way to the top with smart strategizing and outstanding clothes accentuated by accessories. Fcuk's incredible, European-inspired clothing designs have become extremely popular in North America and continue to dominate the European market as well. French Connection is now a million dollar concern with over 20 countries including the UK, US, Europe, Middle East, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan and Malaysia and over 1,500 outlets all over the world. They have 77 stores in the U.K. and 30 stores in the United States.

Fcuk offers a wide range of products including prêt a porter women's wear, men's wear, Jeans, sportswear, children's clothes, accessories like shoes, belts and bags, as well as bath and beauty products. Since 2002, their shoes are crafted by renowned footwear manufacturer Lambert Howarth. In 2002, French Connection signed an agreement with Shiseidoto, a Japanese beauty products group, to launch a new collection of fragrances which were on shelves somewhere in mid 2004.

Fcuk fragrances in chic bottles for men and women tease the senses and dazzle the mind. Some are a blend of Sweet flowers, including roses and violets, interlaced with golden amber musk and fragrant woods along with bergamot, muguet and water iris, barrigtonia flower, jasmine, peony, sandalwood and cedar wood.

Fcuk combines high street fashion wear and gives it a neat, elegant look with graceful styling. They take casual wear to an altogether new level - relaxed and hassle free. Wearers possess that tongue in cheek trendiness that is reflected off them by the brand. "fcuk rules"
